It is an oil brand used as a basis for pricing for Russian oil exports. Russia is the world's second largest producer of crude oil and also one of the world's top oil exporters. Russian export blend crude oil (REBCO) is a medium gravity sour crude that accounts for exports of approximately 4 million barrels per day into the Atlantic Basin or to other nearby refining markets. In commodity market terminology, Russian Export Blend Crude Oil refers to a medium gravity sour crude oil that is produced in Russia. REBCO is an Urals blend type of crude and generally trades at a discount to prices for other crude oils on the world market.
