Trade Lead Description:
Sod peat is environmentally
friendly fuel, as though it's
extracted directly from the
depths of peat deposits. The usage of peat as a fuel is
caused by its composition: high
carbon content, low content of
sulfur, non-flammable hazardous
residues and impurities. Sod peat
is characterized by environmental
purity of burning (low sulfur
content) and full combustion
(low ash residue). In accordance with the quality
characteristics, energy value of
sod peat amounts to 2900-3400
kcal / kg, that is a bit less than
energy value of peat briquettes
3800-4200 kcal / kg, and
significantly higher than energy
value of firewood - 1900-2200
kcal / kg. It means that to get
the same amount of heat it's
necessary to burn the amount of
firewood in 1.5 times more than
sod peat. This fact plays very
significant role to prefer sod peat
to other fuels.
