Diamond Backer pad has a very important foam interface between the polisher and your workpiece. The moulded backer pad's foam will dampen vibrations to prevent the polisher from bouncing, yet is flexible and tough enough to withstand the rigorous operation of any polisher/grinder. A permanent bond between the backer pad and other components of the pad eliminates separation problems.
The embossed hook facing is molded with the backer pads material, it creates a permanent durable and flat surface. It offers quick and easy removal of other accessories.
