CCS are metal-complex colorants solutions prepared for solvent-base stains formulations. CCS concentrated liquid dyes were formulated in order to replace powder colorants with much more practical solutions inside the production process and to minimize variations in the mixing solution. In fact, main features of CCS solutions, are very high concentration and low viscosity. These characteristics combine practicality of use of a liquid solution to an advantage of a low formulating space, allowing the choice of the solvent or component more suitable to the application. CCS are characterized by a high fastness to light and by the possibility of full mixing with a wide range of solvents and resins normally used for solvent-base dyes solutions. They allow to obtain stains with a high rate of transparency and very intensive hues. Thanks to their high solubility, stains containing CCS concentrated dyes result more brilliant after varnishing.
