It is basically used for steel, sleeves, hot top as well as other manufacturing processes where the 75 % husk is used as fuel in rice mills for generating steam for parboiling process and the balance 25 % is converted into ash during firing process (known as rice husk ash) and contains 93 % of morphous silica. With the color being gray to white, it contains high silica and low carbon that makes it perfect to be used in steel and cement industry. Insulating Powder is used in all the steel mills as an economical and cost effective insulating agent on hot molten metal in steel mills
