FATS was established in 1992 by sisters Elaine and Caron Harris with the
focus on road transport into Africa. Today FATS employ approximately 35
team members, operating from our owned premises in Sydney Road, within
close proximity to the harbour and airport.
FATS, an acronym for Forwarding African Transport Services, and a
Customs accredited clearing agent, offer the full spectrum of services from
International Forwarding for the import and export of sea and air freight to
warehousing. As an added benefit for our Clients we have established our
own customβs department.
Over the years FATS has developed strong ties with a network of overseas
agents and we are represented in most countries globally.
