The Company located in Guannan Industrial Park of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone, a state-level development zone, develops fermentation technology to produce natural Beta-Carotene, the only one reaching industrialization level throughout the world. It is a national key project listed in the Eighth Five-Year and Ninth Five-Year State Plans as key technology breakthrough and the State Torch Plan (1998), aiming at promoting naturalization and nationalization of Beta-Carotene. In November 2000 the Ministry of Science & Technology of China approved the project of industrialization of natural Beta-Carotene fermentation production listed it in the Ninth Five-Year State Plans, achievement of which was certified by Ex
