RG Attachments Ltd manufacture Tapeformers which are used to wrap shielding around cable cores. The tapeformer is a device that is attached in front of the extruder head before the cable enters the final jacketing stage.
Tapeformers are made to individual specifications & needs, and can be adapted to work on almost any cable making machinery. Tapeformers run at line speeds of up to 200m/min; they can be used with many forms of tape including paper, Mylar and metalised foils, and can insulate all types of cable from LAN, telephone & communication, automotive and power cables.
