Hortico Basket Investments is a company that promotes agribusiness in Zimbabwe through implementation of food processing projects and offering consultancy services to food processing (small to large scale) industries and farmers (smallholder to commercial) in horticultural production. The consultants are equipped with vast experience as they have hands on working experience through the actual production of the horticultural products. Horticultural, grain products and traditional foods from the trained farmers are mostly exported and also sold on the local markets. The company is also a provider of food processing machinery that ranges from solar driers, banana wafer production lines, potato wafer production lines, sweet potato wafer production lines and citrus juice extraction lines just to mention a few. Primarily, the company operates in Zimbabwe and is head quartered in Harare although it has a vision to expand into all parts of Africa and beyond.
