Silicone resin can be used as an H-class insulator because of its excellent heat resistance, low temperature resistance, incombustibility, water resistance, and electric insulation properties. The glass fiber cloth base material makes the most of these features. It shows little change in electric resistance in relation to temperature, and it has excellent arc resistance and high frequency properties. It can be used as an insulator in heaters, microwave ovens, circuit breakers and outside insulators.
