DESCRIPTION:

P88 is an unsaturated polyester based on DCPD, dissolved in styrene. The resin is pre-accelerated with polymeric amines, has a medium viscosity, and a high reactivity.

Principal properties:

Fillers and putties base on P88 achieve early dry sandability, eapecially with sanding machines. P88 is ideal for use as the sole binder for car body fillers, accepts higher filler loads, and shows excellent storage stability of derived pastes. P88 putties show very good adhesion to various substrates, including mild steel, galvanized steel, aluminium, and polyester.

SUGGESTED USES:

P88 is a versatile putty resin, intended primarily for use in the manufacture of car body filler and putties for benzoyl peroxide cure. Filler pastes made from P88 show excellent dry sandability and do not rapidly clog sanding paper. This resin is cold-curing, even around 0℃.

We also produce M81 BPO resin for filler

M81 is an amine pre-accelerated flexible unsaturated polyester resin containing no wax. The auto body filler based on M81 resin is excellent in workability, air-drying, sand-ability, adhesion and storage stability. It is available for BPO cured system.


SUGGESTED USES:

Car repair Body filler, heavy vehicle putty, machine tool putty, wooden putty.
